Who is the artist behind Bubble Tea Penguin?
My name is Trina and I am the artist behind Bubble Tea Penguin! I am a Filipino-American woman in my mid 20s, part of the (L)GBTQ+ community, and based in SoCal.
I started Bubble Tea Penguin around the beginning of 2019 to expand and experiment with my art. Bubble Tea is my favorite drink and penguins are my love. Combine the two and we have Bubble Tea Penguin!
I love creating colorful illustrations featuring my interests of penguins, bubble tea, profanity, memes, and horror movies. There is a juxtaposition in my illustrations such as combining a bright pink & girly elements with a scary horror character such as Pyramid Head.
Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer and manage an online shop. I am well-versed in digital programs (proficient in the Adobe Suite Programs and Clip Studio Paint). Currently I am creating customized logos for small business and online influencers. Feel free to contact me for some freelance projects!
